Logs & Notifications
The Logs panel records what happened to the bodies you own, and which of it you are told about.
The bell icon in the top bar opens the Logs panel. It lists events on the bodies you own, newest first, and carries a dot while something in it is unread. Your last 50 entries are kept. Clicking an entry pans the camera to the body it is about.
Subscriptions
The Subscriptions section at the top of the panel chooses which events are recorded, in five groups:
- Planets: attacked, conquered, lost, supported, and an incoming launch aimed at one of yours.
- Suns: the same five for suns.
- Black holes: the same five again, plus Black Hole Unstable when yours starts eating its own garrison, naming how many hours it buys, and Galaxy Collapsed if that garrison runs out; kept apart because losing one loses you the galaxy.
- Clan: invites, joining, being removed, and a body given to or received from a clanmate (see Clans).
- Other: a meteorite paying out, an invite paying out, and one line per Command Center run.
Each group has a switch that mutes or restores everything in it at once. Open a group to set its entries individually.
Muting stops the event being recorded at all, so nothing arrives in the panel and nothing is sent. Entries already stored come back when you turn the type on again; what happened while it was muted is gone.
Push notifications
Below the subscriptions is a Push notifications switch, on browsers that support them. With it on, each recorded event also arrives as a notification on that device. It is per device, so enabling it on your phone leaves your desktop as it was, and a muted type sends nothing.
